Job Description

Minimum SPM/Certificate in any field/preferably in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Manufacturing
Good analytical ability and problem-solving skills, Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a production line on processes, output, quality control & manpower planning.
• Preparing work schedules and assigning workers production line tasks.
• Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity, production quality and safety standards are complied.
• Training & supervising new production line workers.
• Liaise with technician for machine set up and machine down/problem.
• Maintains safe, healthy and good housekeeping of workplace by promoting, encouraging and enforcing safe work practices in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Responsible for first level problem solving, finding immediate solutions or escalate promptly the operational and workplace issues such as machine breakdowns, manpower shortage, delay and workplace harmony.
• Provides clear work direction and expectation to direct reports/line leaders to ensure efficient and effective workflows including but not limited to ensuring smooth shift transition.
• Communicate company policies and procedures, supervise and educate direct reports related to workplace discipline, work performance and on-the-job-training from time to time.
• Close collaboration with executive/engineer in matters related to hiring, disciplinary management and developing employees under respective supervision.
• Actively involved in all Kaizen/ Continuous improvement activities and projects related to Production.
• Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required by your superior.

Authority:

• Highlight to superiors if machinery or equipment is in danger due to symptoms of maintenance failure, quality effects and abnormal processes. Authorizes to stop operations in the event of non-compliance by any party, especially operations involving machinery and equipment.
