Job Description
Role Purpose:
To lead and supervise daily shopfloor operations across assigned production lines, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are consistently met. The supervisor acts as the bridge between production planning and shopfloor execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Execution
Supervise operators, Welders, Fitter Cum Welder, Machinists, Line Leader Ensure timely execution of job orders based on production schedule. Monitor line output, quality, and cycle time adherence.Workforce Supervision
Assign manpower and coordinate shift rotations. Guide, train, and motivate the production team to meet KPIs.Safety, Quality, and 5S
Enforce safety rules and ISO/5S compliance on the floor. Perform visual checks and quality confirmation before handover.Coordination & Escalation
Communicate with Production Engineer and Planner regarding part shortages or technical issues. Escalate machine downtime or quality concerns for resolution.Reporting
Record daily output, downtime, reject rates, and operator attendance. Submit shift reports and improvement suggestions to the Production Manager.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
