Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Manage and run day to day pallet repair production at Loscam Depot.

Solving and handling production issue which include tools and equipment maintenance, manpower arrangement, depot facilities maintenance and etc.

Implement, provide training and enforcement of safety and health policy in the depot.

Stock control and management for consumable, spare parts, tools and etc.

Waste management and overall 5S implementation in the depot.

Outsource workers benefit & compensations management.

Manage shift supervisor duties and assignment

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

Ensure quality and production output set by management can be achieved.

Ensure all productions problem to be resolved and sufficient tools and facilities at the depot to run repair pallet production at the depot efficiently.

Ensure all safety guidelines in the depot being followed by all the staff and PPE being wear all the time in the depot area.

Ensure sufficient consumable such as timber, nail, paint and saw blade to run repair line productions and accuracy of consumable and spare parts / tools stock.

Participate and provide solutions to sales /customer service team in term of customer complaint.

Ensure a safe working area.

Supervise and manage productions to achieve production and quality target.

Ensuring a healthy and safe working environment and support cost effective operational activities.

Manpower management to achieve cost effective production output.

Manage volunteers and interns as necessary to achieve position objectives.

Perform other duties as required

LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENT:

Able to lead and manage a large group (>100) workers at the production floor.

Understand in depth the whole process of pallet repairing and able to provide training to the newcomer.

Work in team and support all the colleagues to achieve better result.

POSITIONS REQUIREMENT:

At least 3 years working experience in pallet or wood industry in the role of productions.

Minimum diploma holder or SPM graduate with more than 5 years working experience

Must be fit and healthy.

Good interpersonal and communications skills with foreign worker and work as a team.

Willing to work long hours and on weekend to ensure operations running smooth.

. Able to work in shift environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
