Duties & Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the work orders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that equipment are maintained in good and safe working condition. \xe2\x80\xa2 Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs needed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Record all required data for production document in real time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide assistance to junior operators in their assigned responsibilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Clean the equipment and work area as per approved cleaning procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work under the guidance of Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Involve in production formulation mixing processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform dispensing process andtransferring ofthe raw materialto working area. \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow strict cGMP and Pharmaceutical regulation at all time \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to waste management programs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to process improvement programme. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain the work area to be in a clean environment according to the room grade. \xe2\x80\xa2 Control process output as to not have unnecessary rejects \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist packing operator whenever needed \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist supervisor in NC and CAPA execution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist maintenance team in machine trouble shooting. \xe2\x80\xa2 To execute any task assigned by the superior. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participating in attend ad-hoc request Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working in cleanroom will be an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work in shift or overtime if needed
SGB has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Solution Biologics Sdn. Bhd., to undertake the supply of vaccines and biologics. For the initial phase of the business, Solution Biologics Sdn. Bhd will operates a fill and finish facility dedicated to vaccines and biologics. The facility will be housed in the current manufacturing building at Technology Park Malaysia and expected to be operational by first quarter of 2021. Biologics and vaccines represent one of the fastest growing classes of therapeutic molecules in modern healthcare. The annual global biologics market is expected to be approximately USD 380 billion by 2024, representing a relatively higher growth rate (~8%) compared to conventional pharmaceuticals. Currently, more than 350 biologics are commercially presented in the biopharmaceuticals market. Since biologics are quite large in comparison to chemical-based drugs and made up of proteins, they require extra care to maintain their size, shape, form, and stability. These factors correlate to the intended effect and efficiency of the biologic drug. We are committed to developing newer and more effective vaccines and biologics through research and development programme with our partners. Our plan for the future will include paediatric and adult vaccines that are part of the National Immunisation Schedule of Malaysia and the Extended Programme of Immunisation (EPI) of various countries in the region.
