About the role

CORETECH GMC SDN BHD is seeking a talented Production Technician for a contract role based in Kulim Hi-Tech Park Kedah. As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our industry-leading products. What you'll be doing

Monitor and maintain the quality and performance of Ultra Purified Water (UPW) systems on a daily basis. Operate and monitor production equipment using Man-Machine Interface (MMI) systems to ensure optimal operation of UHP gas processes. Process and fill 7N UHP Ammonia and NH?OH into various containers including ton containers, 47L cylinders, and ISO tanks, ensuring compliance with handling and purity standards. Start, monitor, and stop the discharge of raw NH?, optimizing for efficiency and safety. Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including product receiving, inspection, documentation, and dispatch. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as backwashing, flushing, and general equipment servicing to ensure system integrity. Top up consumable chemicals and maintain appropriate stock levels for uninterrupted operations. Respond promptly to emergency situations as part of the emergency response team, following established safety protocols. Assist in the setup, adjustment, and changeover of production lines to meet shifting operational demands. Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate and up-to-date production logs, maintenance records, and quality reports. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, contributing to a zero-incident work culture.

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years of experience as a Production Technician or in a similar role within a chemical manufacturing or semiconductor environment Strong understanding of production equipment, tools and maintenance procedures Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals and instructions Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment
