Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities



Color Matching & Formulation:

Mixing and testing inks to meet specific customer color standards and specifications using spectrophotometers.

Inventory & Press Support:

Managing raw material inventory, preparing ink for the daily schedule, and assisting press operators with adjustments.

Quality Control (QC):

Testing for viscosity, pH levels, and color accuracy.

Equipment Maintenance:

Cleaning and maintaining ink mixers, dispensers, and, in some cases, performing minor repairs.

Safety & Compliance:

Operating within OSHA, EPA, and company safety guidelines, including handling hazardous materials and maintaining 5S standards.

Data Management:

Recording ink usage, formulas, and press returns for consistency and inventory control.

Requirements



Education:

specialized training in Graphic Communications or Ink Chemistry plus.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in a printing environment

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, color perception, basic math for formulations, and, often, experience with Microsoft Office.

Physical:

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a manufacturing environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
