Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling components or finished products according to technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role involves hands-on work with tools, machinery and materials to build parts or systems in a production line or workbench setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components into final or sub-assemblies
Follow detailed assembly instructions, diagrams, and SOPs
Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively
Inspect parts and finished products for defects or deviations from specifications
Identify and report any non-conformances or issues during the assembly process
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assembly workstation
Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets
Support continuous improvement and participate in lean manufacturing practices
Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
