We are actively seeking a Professional Services, Project Manager, SAP. This is a remote Southeast Asia position and can be based anywhere in Singapore, Philippines, or Malaysia.

Position Summary

As part of our Global Professional Services (GPS) group, the Project Manager will have progressive experience in managing and delivering projects in challenging environments including excellent consulting and functional skills with specific experience focused on SAP Platform. He/she is expected to partner with existing internal and external subject matter experts in various technologies and have an extensive background and experience in SAP project delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Directing and managing the complete lifecycle of an ERP project including planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions designed to meet requirements
  • Facilitating insights and knowledge from subject matter experts to create thorough and achievable project plans, schedules and other communications
  • Engaging on project teams including with onshore and offshore resources from inside and outside RSI to accomplish the project goals
  • Effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Delivering project objectives within agreed-upon schedule and budget
  • Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to the project and communicate risks to stakeholders
  • Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path
  • Facilitating regular progress meetings with project stakeholders, escalating when necessary
  • Demonstrating accountability towards meeting expectations and requirements of customers
  • Demonstrating an ability to learn and adapt to new tools, approaches and processes
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Motivates the team by explaining priorities and objectives
  • Adheres to and analyzes project/program policies processes, standards, governance, and metrics
  • Identifies opportunities for improving efficiency, project delivery and cost reduction
Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Experience
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in SAP program or project management
Skills
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC, including one or more of functional domains (FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM, etc.) & confidence in discussing technology concepts, trade-offs, and opportunities in the field of ECC, S/4HANA, ABAP, Basis, Security, etc.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred, Scrum Master certification a plus
  • Experience successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects applying a variety of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM
  • Expertise using common project management & communication management tools: e.g., MS Project, Salesforce, MS Office, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer facing & interpersonal effectiveness with exceptional ability to successfully influence cross functional team stakeholders without formal authority
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling project management processes for new or ambiguous areas
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
