Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Mandatory);
Possess current Practicing Certificate for nurses;
Possess Post Basic qualification/Advanced Diploma/Master in Nursing (specialty) or specialized related nursing programme under Ministry of Health (MOH) or institutions that has registered with the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) and recognized by Malaysia Nursing Board (MNB)/ Malaysian Midwifery Board (MMB)
Has a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.
Possess a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Plan course curriculum and develop modules for certificate, and diploma level in Nursing.
Ensure continues content development of the course modules to keep abreast with current educational situation
Evaluate effectiveness of the training/teaching methods and learning process. Recommend for improvement.
Oversee, organized and develop the core activities of teaching, examining, advising and others service activities with Departmental colleagues, notably lecturers, where appropriate
Maintain and enhances the Departmental teaching quality of course and programmed
Ensures that all staffs have confidential access to their immediate supervisor on matters affecting the Departmental function and activities or affecting individual themselves.
Manage grievance, disciplinary, competences, sickness absence and capability procedure concerning staff and students.
Recognized staff achievements and keep staff informed of such achievement.
Ensure the teaching for academic staffs
Assisting in the marketing (requirement of students nurses) and lecturers
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
Implementation of new nursing programmes
Review and updated the Curriculum periodically
Assist in curriculum development meeting
MANAGEMENT/ACADEMIC
Liaise closely with the other Dean of faculty in improving the programmes
Plan the Academic Calendar regarding leave, posting to the clinical placement for Faculty staff as link lecturer and students
Prepared the examination Calendar for revision, correction time and cross marking and re sit for each semester.
Strategic planning on the distribution of staff and allocation of lecture hours for academic staff as certain discipline has a great shortage especially nursing division.
Day to day management of designated area of provision and responsibility
Delegates work on priority basis
Maintain essential records required for the examination Units
Liaise with other administrative Manager for academic purposes (i.e. arrange for invigilator, informing students to get the examination result slips and students that need academic counseling )
Provide reports and updates to the management as required/ request
Plan and coordinate students ' orientation
Representing the best interest of University at all time
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategy for new and existing programme.
Conduct annual and periodic performance evaluations for faulty in accordance with contract and college policy
EXAMINATION
In conjunction with the Coordinator for matters pertaining to examination (i.e. Examination schedule, questions and model answer that need to prepare and to be sent for external examiner approval.
Prepare examination report for each semester to the college council Board meeting
Plan, coordinate and arrange for test and examination for students in each semester
Review and endorse examination schedules.
Ensure all assignment And examination are mark and enter in the spread sheet for the external examination Board meeting
Evaluate the teaching of academic staff for this college
CLINICAL PLACEMENT
Ensure that the planning and allocated the students for clinical placement Coordinator for the distribution of students in the clinical areas
Ensures all portfolio of each students in the clinical areas and their case study had been collected as it is part of the clinical examination
Allocated staff for clinical supervision as a link lecturer.
Ensure time is allocated in the time table for Clinical Coordinator to give briefing to students before clinical posting

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
