We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Program Engineer (Junior Executive) to support Bill of Materials (BOM) management, customer communication, project coordination, and documentation. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments (Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, Supply Chain) and external customers to ensure accurate BOM releases, timely updates, and smooth execution of project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main coordinator for BOM management during the project phase, including updates, version control, and communication with stakeholders.
Work closely with customers to clarify BOM details, revisions, and changes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Ensure all internal departments receive correct and updated information for their respective activities.
Track and support engineering changes, build plans, sample part lists, material readiness, and project timelines.
Manage and update project documentation (timelines, reports, action trackers, status updates).
Coordinate customer forecasts, quotations, and delivery commitments with internal teams.
Participate in internal and customer meetings; take minutes, track actions, and ensure timely follow-up.
Monitor project progress, escalate delays or risks to the Program Manager, and support issue tracking/resolution.
Serve as a communication bridge between management, internal teams, and customers to maintain alignment and ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related), Business, or equivalent.
0-2 years of experience in program coordination, planning, or customer service (engineering/manufacturing environment preferred; fresh graduates are welcome).
Good understanding of BOM structure, quotation processes, demand forecasting, and commitment tracking.
Strong communication and coordination skills to work across departments and with customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP/PLM systems (SAP, Oracle, Arena) is a plus.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities responsibly.
Job Related Skills
Familiarity with BOM, change management, and engineering documentation.
Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or automotive industries is an advantage.
Ability to handle customer queries professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
