Job Description
Principal Accountabilities
\xe2\x97\x8f The Production Technician II is responsible for performing moderately complex builds of computing products in accordance with build plan. Install and test system hardware, software and components.
\xe2\x97\x8f Prepare product for assembly.
\xe2\x97\x8f Performs builds of moderately complex products per build plan, including installing hardware and components, software loading, and system configuration. Performs large rack assembly and cabling. Test product and software loads per build plan.
\xe2\x97\x8f Identify and process non-conforming material.
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform basic system troubleshooting and monthly maintenance.
\xe2\x97\x8f Package, process and transfer product.
Job Complexity
\xe2\x97\x8f 2-5 years of work experience
\xe2\x97\x8f Acquires basic computer and network skills to perform routine tasks
\xe2\x97\x8f Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
\xe2\x97\x8f Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures
Experience / Education
Typically requires 2 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of experience.
