The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring all construction activities to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The role involves coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in overall project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
Coordinate between consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow.
Prepare and update project reports, progress charts, and documentation.
Monitor work progress to ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with site teams to ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available as scheduled.
Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to identify discrepancies.
Support in preparing site meeting minutes, reports, and correspondence with consultants and clients.
Ensure all project documentation (submissions, approvals, drawings, permits) are properly maintained and filed.
Follow up on authority submissions and approvals (DBKL, BOMBA, TNB, SYABAS, etc.).
Monitor and report on project costs, variation orders, and material usage.
Ensure that safety and quality policies are implemented and maintained on-site.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in
Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture
, or equivalent.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in
project coordination
within the
building construction industry
(high-rise, commercial, or residential).
Good understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and documentation.
Strong communication and coordination skills with consultants and site teams.
Proficient in
Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications
.
Able to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Possess own transport and willing to travel to site locations.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
