Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

Manage large, complex, global, multi-function projects involving a combination of workplace design, transaction management, construction management, facilities management and IT activities.

Work closely with the REFM Business Partners to understand the needs of the K-C business units, and facilitate the development of the best possible solution to the meet the needs.

Manage a program of smaller REFM single-service line projects in an assigned portfolio of projects

Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation point for the project client(s) related to the project

Identify project issues, developing solutions and contingency plans; escalate as necessary

Facilitate project kickoff/planning sessions to thoroughly document project scope and create an overall project schedule using MS Project.

Facilitate regular project control meetings to assess progress, maintain the project schedule and record/follow-up on action items and issues as required.

Should be familiar with project management techniques such as the Critical Path Method of analysis, risk management, and project budgeting

Creates, maintains, and distributes routine project reporting including status reports, both team level and executive level.

Consistently deploy REFM\xe2\x80\x99s project delivery process on all assigned projects to ensure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with K-C\xe2\x80\x99s corporate financial instructions (CFI).

Monitor project resource levels assigned to the project to ensure sufficient capacity and expertise. Escalate concerns to REFM leadership for resolution.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related discipline; MBA preferred and other real estate certification desirable

8-10 years experience in a large company setting (preferably Fortune 500) with focus on real estate related disciplines (project management, architecture, planning, transaction management, facilities management, real estate development)

Experience in delivering projects globally, recognizing cultural differences and styles, while operating in an effective and respectful manner

Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to think strategically, drawing conclusions and identifying opportunities/trends/issues from complex data

Effective financial analysis skills, with proficiency in understanding and ability to communicate key financial management metrics and create/analyze real estate financial models

Strong influencing, collaboration and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels within and outside the enterprise, including the ability to develop and conduct presentations for K-C senior leadership

Effective planning, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and effectively interface with various project teams

Strong customer service focus, with emphasis on identifying opportunities and solutions to meet customer need

Ability to use sound judgment and work independently in challenging situations with minimal supervision, while maintaining corporate standards

Working knowledge of both office and industrial asset types, industry-related technology, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
