A DAY IN THE LIFE OF We are seeking a Project Designer/Interior Designer to join our Design and Expansion team. The person in this role will assist in expanding the footprint of The Flexi Group\'s future and existing venues, creating practical and aesthetically pleasing interiors while bringing our design philosophy to life. You will be expected to align design deliverables with our expansion strategies. You will collaborate with the senior team and contribute to creating and updating interior designs for each of our new or existing locations. We are looking for someone who can match our fast-paced and growing energy and play a significant role in the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain further commercial design and project delivery insights. Responsibilities: Perform preliminary site visits and virtual research, complete with field notes and site photos to gain inspiration and implement improvements at every opportunity Prepare design inspirations, mood images, furniture proposal, material sample board and colour palette to support the landlord or client\'s presentation Produce captivating conceptual design, efficient space planning and layout optimisation to suit the location, market positioning, and a unique selling proposition Preparing test-fit layout, technical drawings, and overall concept proposals for presentation, project coordination, tender and construction through AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, 3D Rendering and presentation software Develop detailed designs & documentation with specifications based on the approved budgets Coordinate with internal and external consultants in all stages of design and construction Review and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings and specifications from builders and vendors Manage vendors and explore new opportunities for collaborations Develop and regularly update the FF&E list for new and existing projects Complete accurate reports for the senior team within the set timeframe and to deadlines To assist the Project Management team with detailed layout square footage tabulation, specifications, and FF&E list to be used for budgeting Perform layout customisation as requested by the Sales / Location / Real Estate teams Requirements University degree holder in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Arts, or any related discipline preferred. Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in designing and constructing commercial office, retail, or hospitality projects. A keen eye for design aesthetics and resourceful in selecting colours, textures, materials, and furnishings. Creative thinker with the ability to bring ideas to life. Thrives under pressure and is solution-oriented. Personable with strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. - Exceptionally organised with solid attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Proficiency in producing 3D renderings for landlord or client presentations is a plus.
