In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To generate technical / commercial proposals and project quotations for sales inquiries for Tier 2 and above.
• Design Sample Handling systems and analyzer sizing and modelling based on process applications and come up with optimized solutions.
• Independently handle customer inquiries, coverage, sales pursuit / follow-ups and met monthly / annual sales.
• Prepare project tender bid documentations, inclusive of tender compilations and quotation summaries. Strategize on best solutions based on competitive analysis and marketing initiatives in the proposal submissions.
• To keep stay ahead of current competition and market trends; and to communicate such information to Management.
• To collaborate closely with Business Development Manager, and Sales Team and Service teams to develop and achieve overall objectives with respect to the sales budgets and targeted accounts
• To answer technical inquiries. Be technically proficient to handle customer queries for Emerson analyzers and associated sample handling system designs and buy-out systems.
• To verify and to enter orders to Purchase Requisition/Shipment Order.
• To provide customer with documentation for orders.
• To build rapport and establish good working relationship with customers and ensure quality service and support.
• To be involved in the post order management for secured projects, such as Kick-Off Meetings and post order clarifications.
• Responsible for the effective project implementation to meet and / or exceed customer\'s technical specifications and quality standards for all Rosemount Analytical Tier 2 and above projects.
• To define, design, schedule, install, start up and commission Rosemount Analytical projects and its companion products.
• To prepare project documents on design, scheduling, installing, start up and commission.
• To assist the immediate Head in the above and any other job assignments.
• Ensure good project engineering standards and practices are implemented at all times.
• Ensuring focus on understanding customer needs and solving of customer technical problems to improve customer happiness.
• Continuous improvement of existing engineering standards and practices to improve efficiency and profitability of all projects.
• To provide feedback on potential risk and opportunities for development Rosemount Analytical products of anticipates trends.
• To complete project as per project management operation process.
• To perform any other tasks as and when assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Works closely with the immediate leader to participate on continuous process improvement.
• Provides full backup coverage for the other project execution engineer as and when required.
• Keeps the management team advised of areas of conflict that go unresolved or may pose a threat to Emerson.
• Assists customers in handling, servicing, follow-up, communication and closure of issues.
• Adheres to shift schedules and attendance expectations to ensure consistent support to customers and a balanced workload for peers.
• Coordinates with other teams/support to complete the request of customers.
• Plans, implements, and manages own workload and projects in collaboration with line leaders.
• Participates in team meetings, huddles, and information cascades.
• Fulfils other reasonable duties and projects as the need arises.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Min 3 years proven experience in process instrumentation and product/project marketing, proposals, or sales.
• Experience with Analytical Products viz. gas analyzers, liquid analyzers, gas chromatographs, flame and gas detectors, laser analyzers etc.
• Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Engineering
• Excellent analytical skills and results oriented.
• Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
• Hands-on engineering knowledge with focus on customer needs and happiness
• Advance knowledge in Microsoft office applications & other web-based applications.
• Willing to travel outstation/overseas.
