Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth progress and completion of projects within cost, time, and quality standards.
• Possess knowledge of authorities and approval procedures; work with consultants to secure necessary planning and technical requirements.
• Manage, supervise, and coordinate all project activities and resources; lead and guide site personnel in their tasks.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and controlling daily activities at project sites.
• Plan and monitor team work progress for compliance with standards and detailed development plans.
• Supervise and control sub-contractors' activities at site.
• Ensure smooth running and operation of site works at project site.
• Take overall responsibility for site operations in terms of progress, quality, and safety of work.
• Prepare and review construction work programmes.
• Plan, organize, implement, and monitor assigned projects.
• Ensure minimal wastage at site and maintain regular housekeeping practices.
• Ensure all contractor works and suppliers' products comply with drawings and specifications.
• Participate in client consultations and technical meetings.
• Organize weekly site meetings with sub-contractors for coordination.
• Prepare PQP, method statements, material submissions, construction drawings, and specifications for submission to relevant authorities.
• Plan site mobilization, office setup, and filing systems.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by superiors.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and submit RFIs for clarification.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in building construction.
