General Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Interfacing with various internal and external vendors/partners/client to complete task within SLA for each milestone. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to closely monitor each issue and aggressive follow up on the progress. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure all milestones are met within time, quality standards, resources & budget: To coordinate and obtain inter-department support. To interface between subcontractors, project team, customer. To make sure proper and on-time escalation taken place, and meticulous tracking of each issue. Able to identify potential risk or roadblocks and escalation to supervisors. To provide weekly updates on project requirements. Other business assignments: As assigned by Project Managers or Higher Management. Degree of independent decision-making: Act on decision that impact the CSD Division and affiliate \xe2\x80\xa2 30% of independent decision can be made by this position. \xe2\x80\xa2 70% of decision needs to be jointly rectified by project members and Project Managers. Level of innovation and initiative: Minimum to Moderate as follows:- \xe2\x80\xa2 To follow standard procedures and SLA. Degree of influence on departmental / function / NECoMAL results: Medium degree of influence to CSD Division. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum degree of individual decision making. Communication / Interaction with others internally or externally: \xe2\x80\xa2 Communication and interaction with both internal & external stakeholder of NECoMAL. \xe2\x80\xa2 Discussions with internal team (e.g. Project Team) on issues, provide quality inputs, propose constructive feedback. \xe2\x80\xa2 External parties: NEC\xe2\x80\x99s clients, partners & outsourced partners. Percentage of job scope i.e. working away from the home country : \xe2\x80\xa2 100% Malaysia (in a case to case basis, if necessary and/or required, out of the country dispatch is possible) \xe2\x80\xa2 Home country = Malaysia Qualifications Education \xe2\x80\xa2 Diploma / Degree in Telecommunication / Engineering Field or equivalent. Work experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 2-3 years working experience in project or telecommunication industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experienced in Rollout Projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in Telco Infrastructure. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work under pressure, proactive, accountable and good attitude. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia & English (written & Spoken). \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication skill and must be able to deliver clear instruction. \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer literate and strong skillset in spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel, Words, Power Point, and etc\xe2\x80\xa6). NEC Corporation of Malaysia Sdn Bhd NEC Malaysia Sdn Bhd was registered on 27th December 1987 and commenced operations on 1st March 1988. This wholly-owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation was set up in response to the Malaysian Government\'s `Look East Policy\' as well as to tap the unexplored market for personal computers and communications products. The initial line of products included mobile phones, key telephone systems, fax machines, ATUR sets, PABX systems, personal computers and printers. Two years after breaking into the market, NEC Malaysia created a niche market for itself in the hand phone and personal computer businesses. This attracted many competitors who eventually saturated the market with genuine and clone products. This and the change in the corporate direction saw the company changing its direction in year 2000. On 27th March 2000, the Company\'s name was officially changed to NEC Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The change in the name of the Company also brought about the changes in business direction.
