We are looking for : Project Engineer
Location: Kulim, Kedah (On Site)

POSITION GOALS
To provide wide-ranging Project management with a focus on seamless execution in compliance with iMDS/iMCS and EHS requirement. To drive continuous improvement and standardization in parallel with the SLA\xe2\x80\x99s and KPIs established by the Client and/or sub Account Manager. Delivery of services in accordance with client required SOW\xe2\x80\x99s for Project Management, Procurement and Critical Environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Engineer must be a team player and work with other members of the team to meet all key performance indicators as defined in the management contract.

Project Management
Implement a comprehensive management program for seamless execution from commencement through to completion, in compliance with client\xe2\x80\x99s standard and other prevailing standards, within defined schedule and budget.

Develop Scope of Work and implement the work procedures including performance measures to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods and reliability of systems.

Implement continuous quality improvement practices, ensuring initiatives are adhered to maximize the benefits to client accounts, and audit all internal management systems, for quality assurance.

Ensure all Financial Management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Risk Management
Implement risk management program which identifies major property risks including occupational health and safety, fire safety and essential services and environmental.

Ensure data integrity of all information and comply with the audit process from time to time.

Ensure escalation procedures are in place and observed for incident and problem reporting including advice to client, account teams, Regional Managers and insurance company.

Cost Savings Initiatives
Develop initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement.

Customer Service / Client Relationships
Ensure feedback from client are recorded and action taken to the satisfaction of the end user.

Pro-actively develop and manage client ensuring that the expected service levels are achieved.

Key Performances Indication
Refer to the Individual Performance Agreement (IPMP) for Key Performance Measures.

Ensure the KPI Targets for the Account are met.

Initiatives introduced in the account.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

Technical comprehension and experience in Engineering Project Management with performance based service contracts and vendor management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project Office.

Interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.

Knowledge of occupational safety requirements.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong analytical skills.

PMP \xe2\x80\x93 Project Management Professional certification would be added advantage.
