Job Description

The project engineer is co-responsible with the project manager for the realization of the Employer\xe2\x80\x99s projects. S(h)e executes technical, administrative and coordination tasks in order to meet the different project mile stones and to document the processes. S(h)e works together with the other project team members and reports to the project team manager.Responsibilities:\xef\x82\xb7 Make sure that the process & instrumentation (P&ID) items are defined, purchased
and delivered timely on site.
\xef\x82\xb7 Make sure that the risk control and safety demands are fulfilled
\xef\x82\xb7 Adapt the P&ID schemes when needed
\xef\x82\xb7 Compare the equipment of different suppliers, clarify the differences, review
their quotations, select the best suitable one.
\xef\x82\xb7 Preparation and follow-up of the purchase orders and transport to sitePlan and prioritize the project tasks to meets the deadlines at each stage
\xef\x82\xb7 Organize internal progress meetings with the other team members (CAE, PDE, \xe2\x80\xa6)
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify technical and/or engineering problems during the erection and commissioning
and implement solutions
\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor compliance to performance standards and contractual specifications
\xef\x82\xb7 Co-responsibility for the project cost control\xef\x82\xb7 First technical point of contact for the customer and attend to technical meetings
related to the process
\xef\x82\xb7 Technical point of contact to suppliers and subcontractors
\xef\x82\xb7 Communicate effectively with the project manager and other project members
