Job description :
We are looking for a dedicated project engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project. To be a successful project engineer, you should have the ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate excellent project management and supervision skills. You should also have excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills. Health, Safety & Environment
Knows the health, safety, environment & housekeeping procedures and rules, operates in accordance with them, alerts risks, participates to risk analyses, takes corrective actions regarding the own work environment and stimulates safe behavior of colleagues and third parties Preparation
Based on the Engineering plan and objectives, analyzes project requests or own project ideas, elaborates them by collecting additional information and performing research, composes specifications and calculates a detailed budget estimate Detailed Design
Assembles all information necessary and develops the detailed design, considering different alternatives and solving technical issues Procurement
Makes technical comparisons of offers regarding goods and services, assesses technical implications of offers and supports the Category Manager or Local Procurement Representative in negotiations with possible vendors Project Coordination
After the project approval, coordinates and follows up on projects during construction with an emphasis on safety, quality and other organization\'s specifications, coordinates and guides internal colleagues and contractors, takes corrective actions respecting assigned budgets and timelines Acceptance
Ensures execution of tests, inspections and necessary adjustments (by him/herself or by others), leads the commissioning, provides assistance and technical support during the start-up and ensures acceptance of the project Documentation
Prepares and completes the project file and assembles, develops and/or updates the technical documentation and makes them available for all parties involved Technical Support
Gives support to production or maintenance during complex technical problems and gives advice and alternatives for possible solutions Policy Compliance
Ensures compliance with engineering procedures and with all corporate and legal, health, safety and environmental regulations, raises awareness in the teams and takes corrective actions, preventing and avoiding incidents and/or accidents Authorities
If applicable, provides authorities with the needed documents regarding projects
Building Know-how
Keeps his/her know-how and expertise up-to-date, stays informed with evolutions in his/her domain of expertise, analyzes if these can be opportunities for the organization and introduces them, shares know-how with internal colleagues and organizes training for all parties involved
Job qualifications :

• 
  Candidate must possess minimum Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related field preferably electrical, mechanical or industrial
• Minimum 1 or 2 years on site and project engineering experience.
• The ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Supports and works collaboratively with colleagues
• Open to new ideas and suggests ways to improve
• Willing to relocate worldwide after 2 years
