Position: Project Engineer Contract Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (possibility to be converted to permanent) Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm Job Purpose Planning, prospecting, organizing, executing, and managing of marine projects. Provide technical application & sales solutions for main propulsion diesel engine and generator for AHT/SSV and oil / gas support vessel / workboat/ governmental applications. Responsible in prospecting new business opportunities, developing offerings and solutions to customers, managing sales and marketing for Caterpillar range of products inclusive of complete marine package solutions offerings such as gearbox, propeller etc. Job Qualification: Minimum Degree in Engineering with minimum of 5 years\' working experience in project management from marine or electrical engineering industry Marine related experience - technical and operations Job Details: Ensure costs elements for marine projects execution are within/below budgeted levels of with objective of improving project profitability. For all confirmed sales, foreign currency items must be hedge effectively. To lead the team for the success of the projects. Provide technical advice on the products and services offerings to customers (end user) and shipyards on the assigned projects and follow through on the project. Update and validate CAT product configuration, attachments and local content purchases and application of certificates includes engine, EIAPP, alternator, crankshaft and TVA calculation with factory and class endorsement. Timely delivery and completion of tests, trials and commissioning of projects in accordance with the project execution timelines. As project lead for completion of the all projects by liaising with shipyard, marine designers and internal team. Planning, organizing, executing and managing of marine projects. Provide technical application & sales support for main propulsion diesel engine, cat propulsion applications and generator. Coordinate activities for effective implementation of project execution with shipyard, principal, vendors and clients for all marine projects. Coordinating with branch sales personnel and execution of the sales, product scope and technical support. Act as project lead by ensuring that all action items are being close on time with complete information.
