We are looking for a Project Engineer to ensure design, implementation and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, following the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestl\xc3\xa9 standards.

A day in the life of...

• Support the End to End Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager in developing the investment project charter and see to it that it is strictly followed throughout the project.
• During project design, ensure that the project established based on Nestl\xc3\xa9 Corporate Business Principles, the Nestl\xc3\xa9 standards, the local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications.
• Ensure the TPM characteristics of a unit operation (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability) and the workers safety during both, the construction and the further operation of the plant.
• During the project implementation, get the engineering side of the project implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality.
• Ensure the URS and the characteristics of a unit operation, all the elements of the project (including technical people training, as needed) in such a way that safety is always guaranteed on the whole project site and a vertical start-up is assured.
• Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities. Ensure that the Nestl\xc3\xa9 standards are applied. Promote development of environment-friendly and sustainable solutions.
• During the start-up, support the start-up manager and her/his team, to assure a smooth transition to operations, after the qualification and the verification of the installation have been finalized.
• Support in preparing and distributing the project documentation of engineering, including the engineering part of the project final report and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.
• During the whole project life: Promote development of environmental-friendly and sustainable solutions. Mobilize resources internally and externally.
• Implement technical knowledge and skillset into ensuring success of equipment installation for the factory.

What Will Make You Successful

• Have 3 - 5 years experiences in manufacturing projects management (\xe2\x80\x9cmaking it happen\xe2\x80\x9d).
• Experience in capital investment projects development and implementation in food industry.
• Determination of methods to minimize the likelihood of injuries or damages to people and/or equipment (SH&E)
• Know factory operations (as required)
• Technical knowledge in the aspects of mechanical, electrical or mechatronic.
