Position: Project Engineer (Solar)

Location: Kedah

Working Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, Normal Working Hours

Salary: Basic + Outstation Allowance

Responsibilities:

Design Solar PV systems (>72kW) for industrial, commercial, and residential projects using AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Helioscope. Prepare design drawings, BOQ, material specifications, cost estimates, and tender documents. Conduct site surveys to ensure design accuracy and compliance with standards. Liaise with relevant authorities (ST, SEDA, TNB, etc.) for design review and approval. Collaborate with sales, project, and licensing teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Monitor construction progress and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and safety. Communicate with clients to understand technical requirements and provide design solutions.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Preferably registered with BEM and/or SEDA GCPV Design Certificate holder. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, ideally within the Solar PV industry. Proficient in PV design software (PVSyst, Helioscope) and MS Office applications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Possess own transport and willing to travel for outstation assignments.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
