:Job SummaryIf you are seeking a career in System Engineering, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in Subang Jaya. The Principal Engineer overall responsibility to ensure the effective and efficient operations of Engineering Management to meet and/or exceed customer\'s specifications, project schedules and quality standards for all System projects.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure good project engineering standards and practices are implemented at all times, including material procurement, project implementation phase, up to the successful commissioning of the project at customer site.
• Ensuring focus on understanding customer needs and solving of customer problems to improve customer satisfaction.
• Continuous enhancement of existing business practices/processes to improve productivity and profitability of all projects.
• Regularly project audits work internal/external being done to ensure all standards are met.
• To continual enhance of existing business practices / processes to improve productivity and profitability.
• To understand of key processes, economic driver in order to develop valued customer partnership in control and business solution.
• Interact effectively with the Sales/Project Manager and other BU department to provide better projects execution in terms of technical standard practices.
• Supervising and overseeing the work of multiple teams, planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time and providing clear and concise instructions to engineering teams.
• Hiring contractors, building teams and determining the need for training and talent development.
• Extend to use of new Emerson products to internal and external stakeholders.
• Activity development follow, anticipate trends and provide realistic engineering updates to Operation Manager.
• To perform any other tasks as and when assigned

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Control, Computer or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in process control industry and project management, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
• People management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
