Job Title:

Project Director / Senior Lead (Construction & IT)

Client (Owner) / Program Director

Location:

On-site (Malaysia)

Role Overview:

To act as the primary Owner's Representative, leading the integrated project team to ensure the Data Center is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role bridges the gap between the physical building (Construction) and the technology infrastructure (IT Network), ensuring seamless alignment between the General Contractor's execution and the Client's functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management:

Establish a trusted advisory relationship with the Client, translating their business goals into actionable project execution strategies.

Project Controls:

Oversee the Master Schedule and Project Budget. Review and recommend approval for Change Orders, Progress Claims, and contingency usage.

Team Leadership:

Direct and manage the cross-functional Owner's Rep team (Schedule, Quality, EHS, BIM, Commissioning, Logistics).

Risk Management:

Proactively identify risks (regulatory, supply chain, site conditions) and develop mitigation strategies before they impact the Critical Path.

Contract Administration:

Enforce the Main Contract requirements with the General Contractor (GC) and Architects. manage disputes and serve as the first point of escalation.

IT & Construction Integration:

Ensure "White Space" (Data Hall) readiness aligns with IT Network deployment timelines, bridging the gap between CSA/MEP construction and fiber/cabling installation.

Reporting:

Deliver comprehensive weekly/monthly Executive Reports to the Client covering progress, financials, EHS, and risks.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, or Architecture.

Experience:

15+ years in Construction Project Management, with at least 5 years in

Hyperscale Data Centers

or Mission Critical facilities.

Skills:

Strong understanding of Uptime Institute Tier standards, FIDIC contracts, and Malaysian construction regulations.

Leadership:

Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and navigate high-pressure stakeholder environments.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
