Job Description

As a project leader, She/He must create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. She/He requires continual interactions with both expediting / receiving center team and to ensure the project outputs align with stakeholder\'s evolving needs. This individual needs to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders, leading from the front while also taking the time to understand their point of view.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the projects and to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Provide cross-functional team leadership and facilitating roles to the operation members to meet project Plan of Record.
• Ensure product transfer projects landed safely to Penang Manufacturing per project\'s Plan of Record.
• Identify resources for product transfer and manage the resource matrix.
• Own & drive progress toward key milestones and completion of operation deliverables. Communicate changes and impact (when required).
• Manage and report project metrics regularly during transfer phase.
• Define and track contingency/mitigation plans through closure (when require)
• Work with the expediting center\'s Transfer Project Manager and Group\'s Transfer Project Manager to create detailed single-aligned schedule and risk assessment.
• Ensure resources allocation and manufacturing execution strategy/plan are in alignment prior to the project kick-off.
• Develop project scopes, schedule and budget with all relevant stakeholders and ensure business and technical feasibility.
• Perform risk management, monitor progress, and adjust as needed to minimize project risks.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
• Create and maintain project documentation.
• Provide project updates, guidance, and recommendation to stakeholders and management.
• Lead continuous process improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness of the processes used while transferring new products line to Malaysia Operation. Owns Transfer Project Retrospectives.

• Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years\' experience in Project Management or Project Lead (preferably involved in global or cross-regional projects). Must be able to work with cross functional teams.
• Independent and able to get issues resolves with minimum guidance.
• Must be able and willing to travel.
