Department Operations

LocationMalaysia - Kuala Lumpur
The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Data Management & Reporting

Build, maintain, and automate operational dashboards to support performance tracking and decision-making. Analyze data trends to identify areas of improvement and provide actionable insights to management. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and systems.

Partner Billing & Payout Oversight

Manage partner billing and payout cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal processes. Reconcile financial data between systems and partners to resolve discrepancies. Work closely with finance and partner teams to streamline billing processes.

Ad-hoc Initiative Coordination

Support cross-departmental projects and initiatives by preparing materials, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking deliverables. Assist in developing pitch decks or proposals for internal and external presentations. Manage timelines and communication to ensure successful execution of initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in the related field. Proven work experience in data analysis or as a Project Manager. Analytical, detail-oriented and number-driven. Able to analyze data and derive relevant, data-backed insights. Proficient in using Google Suite (Google Sheets, Google Slides) and Microsoft Excel. Skilled at working effectively and communicating with cross functional teams across the organisation. Equip with people management skills is advantageous. * Knowledge of logistics networks / retail networks is a bonus
