Overview

We are seeking motivated and experienced

IT Project Managers (Applications)

at

Junior, Mid, and Senior levels

to lead and deliver critical application projects. The role involves end-to-end project management across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of IT systems and application solutions, with a strong emphasis on the

Banking and Financial Services domain

.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT application projects across the full SDLC. Engage with business users and technical teams to define functional and technical requirements. Manage project stakeholders, including steering committees, working groups, and vendors. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation where necessary. Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and risk requirements during project execution. Drive testing, deployment, and change management processes to support smooth implementations. Ensure proper documentation, governance, and reporting as per established project standards. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members.

RequirementsJunior Level

2-4 years of IT project management experience, with 1-2 years in Banking/Financial Services. Hands-on understanding of SDLC methodologies. Minimum

CAPM certification

or equivalent. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Mid Level

4-8 years of IT project management experience, with 2-5 years in Banking/Financial Services. Proven track record of managing application projects within budget and timelines.

PMP certification

is mandatory. Strong vendor management and multi-team coordination experience.

Senior Level

8+ years of IT project management experience, with 5+ years in Banking/Financial Services. Strong experience in application development, implementation, and integration projects. Proven ability to manage large-scale projects (budget > RM 2M or > 6 months duration).

PMP certification

is mandatory. Experience leading Project Steering Committee meetings with senior stakeholders and C-suite. Familiarity with

data migration and system integration

is an advantage.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
