Job Description

  • 10 \xe2\x80\x93 15 years of experience in project management within the construction industry


This is a full-time Project Manager role located on-site in Johore with a main contractor in construction industry. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and closing of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and ensure timely delivery. The Project Manager will also be responsible for developing and tracking project plans, risk management plans, and project schedules.
Responsibility:
  • Manage DC solutioning, project and ensure adherence to pre\xe2\x80\x90approved designs and operations procedures.
  • Prepare Employer Requirement (ER), Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFPs/ RFQs) and other documents required for project budget/ estimates/bids /tenders/etc.
  • Overall project management, track, present and report regular status of projects to business leaders, customers and other stakeholders as deem appropriate.
  • Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders and Finance team to ensure timely procurement of project packages within budget.
  • Update and maintain all project documentations and contracts for record, retention and audit purposes.
  • Perform due diligence in vendor selection, evaluation and appointment, followed by tender/bid interview for all projects and recommend for award.
  • Project oversight and supervise vendors/ GCs to ensure timely execution and completion of projects are in accordance to ER, internal requirements and in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Liaise, communicate and collaborate with all internal and external parties to ensure timely commencement and completion of all in-country projects.
  • Participate in all required training and learning sessions.
  • Perform all due diligence for vendor selection and appointment for all in-country projects.
  • Supervise vendors to ensure execution of projects are in accordance to organization\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and in compliance with all contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • 10 \xe2\x80\x93 15 years of experience in project management within the construction industry
  • Excellent project planning, execution, and monitoring skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • International exposure with track record of regional roles and knowledge in DC markets.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experienced with contract review, negotiation, and administration
