High-Voltage Substations & Transmission Infrastructure


Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical substation projects from design through to testing and commissioning. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate with TB, consultants, and contractors to secure technical and regulatory approvals. Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Prepare detailed progress reports, documentation, and presentations for management and clients. Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to project teams and subcontractors. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining high safety and quality assurance standards.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 9-10 years of experience managing HV / TB substation projects. Proven leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of project execution, testing, and commissioning. Excellent communication, documentation, and decision-making skills. Based in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.


Nice to Have

Experience managing large EPC or utility-based substation projects. Familiarity with TNB standards, grid interconnection, and power system safety. PMP or equivalent project management certification.
