Job Description

Job Responsibilities:



Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs. Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the company's market presence. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and clients. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and business opportunities. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and build relationships. Assists and contributes to secure project work for the Group in line with that group's business plan, under the direction of Executive management. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the company's market presence. Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to promote the company's services. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns. Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and outcomes. Leveraging internal and external relationships and contributing to business development activities within the team. Responsible for monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Effective and efficient coordination with other departments and entities. Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimation, technical analysis, and project execution plans. Liaise closely with HQ and local teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to align project expectations and deliverables. Lead project meetings, both internally and externally, and effectively communicate project milestones, risks, and challenges. Prepare, monitor, and update Gantt charts, schedules, manpower allocation plans, and budgets. Oversee and ensure timely delivery of technical reports, progress updates, project documentation, and handover packages. Provide engineering support and resolve complex technical issues with efficient, analytical problem-solving approaches. Ensure all project activities adhere to applicable industry codes, regulatory standards, and HSE regulations. Monitor on-site activities, including the performance of third-party contractors, equipment mobilization/demobilization, and material management. Evaluate engineering challenges and initiate corrective/preventive actions to maintain quality and timeline. Provide technical support to tenders, proposals, and cost estimations for new projects. Support and participate in audits, technical inspections, and implementation of action plans.

Job Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, or related discipline). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the oil & gas, pipeline, or engineering services environment. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in pipeline systems, construction, installation, and maintenance. Proven ability to manage project timelines, coordinate with contractors, and monitor project progress. Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound engineering decisions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple project tasks. Experience working in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment. Must be able to perform all responsibilities safely and in accordance with company HSE standards. Must be able to travel to project sites as required. Must be fluent in spoken and written English

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
