Position: Project Manager - Insurance Industry
Industry: Insurance
Working Location: CCCC Tower, Corporate Tower 8, Pavilion Damansara Heights. 3, Damansara Town Centre, 50490 Kuala Lumpur
Working Duration: 12 months contract (Renewable based on business needs)
Working Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 7AM - 4PM (Hybrid)
Salary: Basic range from RM14,000 - 18,000 (Based on experience & skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical coverage

What can you expect?
  • Lead and coordinate across multiple work streams involving business, operations, regional IT teams, and global delivery teams

  • Set clear performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Resolve conflicts within the team to maintain focus and ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and execute engagement plans to motivate and align the team and stakeholders.
  • Regularly report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution and project success.

  • Lead and manage the project team, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Define, refine, and track project scope, milestones, and progress.
  • Implement and oversee processes to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress.
  • Escalate issues as needed to keep the project on track.
What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
  • Agile Scrum or PMP Certification
  • Minimum 9 years of experience as a scrum master or project manager or a similar role.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent people and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
What makes you stand out?
  • Expert knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
  • Proven success with managing teams and delivering successfully using Scrum Agile Framework.
  • Knowledge of the insurance domain and experience handling insurance-related projects is a plus.
