Purpose of the role

You will lead end-to-end delivery of client projects involving smart manufacturing applications from planning and deployment to handover and continuous improvement. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and risks, and ensure every project delivers measurable value on the shop floor. Your success is measured not just by "on-time delivery," but by real operational impact and customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENT

1. Project Planning & Execution

oDefine project scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource needs in collaboration with stakeholders.

oDevelop and maintain detailed project plans (schedule, budget, risk register, communication plan).

oLead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodology.

2. Stakeholder & Customer Management

oAct as the main point of contact for internal teams and customer stakeholders (plant managers, IT/OT leads).

oConduct regular status updates, steering meetings, and demo sessions.

oManage expectations, change requests, and escalations professionally and promptly.

3. Team Coordination & Leadership

oLead and motivate cross-functional project teams (Business Analysts, Engineers, QA, DevOps).

oClarify roles, remove blockers, and foster collaboration especially between technical and non-technical members.

oEscalate resource or priority conflicts to Head of Service Delivery when needed.

4. Quality & Compliance

oEnsure all deliverables meet defined quality standards, SLAs, and documentation requirements.

oDrive UAT, sign-offs, and post-go-live support transition.

oMaintain compliance with internal processes and customer contractual obligations.

5. Risk & Issue Management

oProactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks (technical, resource, timeline, scope).

oEscalate critical issues with recommended solutions to leadership.

6. Reporting & Documentation

oProvide weekly status reports including progress, risks, KPIs, and financials.

oMaintain updated project artifacts in Jira/SharePoint.

oDocument lessons learned and contribute to process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

oBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

o5+ years managing technical implementation projects -- preferably in IIoT, Industry 4.0, MES, or manufacturing software.

oExperience working with cross-functional teams and customer-facing deployments.

oProficient in Jira, MS Project or similar tools.

oStrong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

oAdded advantage

oPMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master (CSM) certification

oFamiliarity with OEE, MTTR, Lean, or Six Sigma

oExperience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS IoT), data

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
