I. Product Strategy & Vision (The "What" and "Why")
Customer & Market Insight: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather deep customer insights through interviews, surveys, and data analysis to identify pain points and opportunities.
Product Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals
Requirements Definition: Translate high-level strategic goals into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications for the design and engineering teams.
Success Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and use data to inform product iterations.
II. Project Execution & Delivery (The "How" and "When")
Process Management: Lead the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap, primarily utilizing Agile methodologies.
Backlog Ownership: Manage and prioritize the product backlog, run sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central hub of communication, coordinating tasks, dependencies, and timelines across engineering, design and founders.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate potential risks (scope creep, bottlenecks, resource conflicts) to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Support: Coordinate product launch activities, working with the marketing, sales and operations teams on messaging, documentation, and training.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of experience in a Product Management, Project Management, or a combined Product Owner.
Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of software development life cycles and the ability to effectively communicate with engineers. You don't need to code, but you need to understand the language.
Methodology Expertise: Proven proficiency in Agile frameworks and experience with project/product tools.
Soft Skills
Exceptional Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal form.
Prioritization: Ability to make tough, data-driven decisions on where to focus limited resources.
Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment where processes are often being built and priorities can pivot quickly.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
