Job Description


Knowledge: Familiarity with the project life cycle. Understanding of Business Transformation Frameworks and best practices. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies. Knowledge of key activities related to Change Adoption. Familiarity with project management tools. Understanding of the banking industry, and the relationship between change initiatives and its customers, and stakeholders. Domain knowledge in areas such as Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Risk, Compliance, and Payments, with an understanding of Digital Transformation. Experience: Relevant experience in managing complex projects across multiple countries or regions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently pick up and handle tasks. Experience in Agile methodologies and a flexible approach to work, characterized by a high level of professionalism. Familiarity with the banking or financial services industry and shared services organizations. Ability to collaborate in virtual teams and lead cross-functional teams. Project management skills and a track record of handling large and complex projects with varying scopes and environments. Proven experience in driving significant change and collaborating with stakeholders across different locations. Effective interaction and influence skills with stakeholders at various levels. Capability to take over and lead ongoing projects. Proficiency in working in non-structured environments and introducing structure when needed. Ability to analyze and structure complex problems, provide direction to others, consider end-to-end impacts on customers and the business, and engage externally. Capacity to challenge existing norms and propose alternative solutions, make recommendations, and take decisions based on available information. Self-driven and proactive work approach. Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and tight schedules. Experience in project tracking, including setting up project plans, managing risk and issue logs, and providing reporting and governance. Expertise in Change Adoption processes, including planning and implementing change interventions, facilitating smooth transitions, and embedding changes into business-as-usual operations. This includes activities from requirements gathering to final user training. Familiarity with transformation changes Design & Initiation (D&I) is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks and potentially manage more than one initiative or project simultaneously. Qualifications and Accreditations: Preferred or required project management certifications, such as PMP, MSP, Prince 2, or Agile PM.
