Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee complex engineering and construction projects within the marine and shipbuilding sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring all project milestones are achieved on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet construction and delivery schedules.
Review technical specifications, general arrangements, and engineering documentation.
Oversee project costing, budgeting, and tender participation.
Conduct project kick-off meetings, manage progress reviews, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Monitor project execution, including equipment procurement, material delivery, and manpower planning.
Prepare regular progress and financial reports for management.
Coordinate sea trials and ensure smooth handover of vessels to clients.
Uphold company standards on safety, compliance, and quality across all stakeholders.
About You
Degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture (preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in shipbuilding or ship repair, including at least 8 years in a project engineering or management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of IACS classification standards and technical specifications.
