Project Manager (Civil Construction & Facility Management)

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven

Project Manager (Civil Construction)

to lead and coordinate our civil works and refurbishment projects within Johor Port. The ideal candidate is hands-on, disciplined, and able to manage fast-track environments while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and execute all civil construction activities in Johor Port. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Prepare and manage project schedules, work programmes, and progress reports. Oversee site operations, manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure on-time completion. Ensure strict compliance with Johor Port regulations, safety requirements, and permit procedures. Monitor quality of work and ensure all workmanship meets required standards. Manage project documentation including method statements, permits, technical submissions, and progress claims. Resolve site issues quickly through effective decision-making and problem-solving. Control project cost and prevent variations or delays through proper planning. Lead weekly site meetings and report updates to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years experience in civil construction; experience in

port projects/industrial facilities

is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Good knowledge of work sequencing, civil construction methods, and safety practices. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and project documentation.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
