Job Responsibility Construction managers plan, direct and coordinate the construction of civil engineering projects, buildings and dwellings, either as the manager of a department or as the general manager of an enterprise or organization that does not have a hierarchy of managers. meeting with clients to understand their requirements and convey company messages Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications; Coordinating labour resources and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment; Negotiating with building owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget; Operating and implementing coordinated work programmes for sites; Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety; Arranging building inspections by relevant authorities; Establishing and managing budgets, controlling expenditure and ensuring the efficient use of resources; Job Requirements Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges. Good problem solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions. Demonstrated leadership skills in driving teamwork excellence, conflict resolution.
