Kawan Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team in Sipitang, Sabah. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
Manage the planning, coordination and execution of multiple engineering projects simultaneously
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements
Liaise with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensure projects adhere to all relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols
Provide technical expertise and support to project teams
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project status and performance
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the EPCC or power plant engineering industry
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex EPCC or power plant engineering projects
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and critical-thinking skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Project management tools and software
Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety protocols
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
