Job Summary

The Project Manager - Software Development is responsible for leading, planning, executing, and delivering software development projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project risks, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Create detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution. Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC). Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and goals. Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure quality standards are met through effective testing, documentation, and version control. Facilitate collaboration between developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams. Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation. Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Manager in software development projects. Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project). Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Technical background in software development or engineering. Experience in SaaS, mobile apps, or enterprise software projects. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
