About You

The Technology PMO team at CARSOME is responsible for project portfolio management, resource allocation, risk management, and project reporting. They work closely with various stakeholders, including technology teams, business units, and senior management, to define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria. They monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track. The objective is to oversee the project management function within the organization\'s Technology PMO, and facilitate scrum ritual.

Your Day-to-Day

• Develop and implement project management methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure consistent and effective project execution.
• Provide guidance and support to project managers throughout the project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Adopt Agile principles and guides the team in adhering to Scrum practices, ritual and roles. They facilitate the various ceremonies like Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, to ensure the team works effectively and continuously improving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Establish and manage schedules, tracking project progress and ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints.
• Conduct regular project status reviews, risk assessments, and issue management to identify and address project challenges and deviations from plan.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring clear and timely communication of project updates, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report on project performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project portfolio health, providing accurate and comprehensive reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks, organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, implementing best practices, and identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and project management practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the project management team and the organization.

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in managing technology projects, ideally within a Tech PMO or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques and/ or Scrum Master.
• Experience with agile project management methodologies (e.g Scrum, Kanban) is desirable.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable or Certification in Scrum (e.g ScrumMaster) is preferred
• Candidates with Mandarin communication skills are preferred due to business requirements.
• Ability to lead without authority and foster collaboration skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software, and collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of technology trends, IT infrastructure, software development methodologies, and related areas is a plus.
