Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of project. This role ensures the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to contract specifications, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. The Project Manager coordinates multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities across internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities



A. Project Planning & Management



Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan (PEP), schedule, budget, and resource plan. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Lead risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, codes, standards, and regulations.

B. Engineering Coordination



Oversee multidisciplinary engineering work (civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, process, etc.). Ensure timely issuance and approval of engineering deliverables. Resolve technical issues and coordinate design reviews with clients and consultants.

C. Procurement & Contracting



Coordinate with procurement to develop material requisitions, vendor selection, and technical evaluations. Monitor vendor performance, expediting, logistics, and delivery schedules. Manage subcontractors and ensure contractual compliance.

D. Construction Management



Plan and oversee site mobilization, construction sequencing, and work-front availability. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity targets. Coordinate daily/weekly construction progress meetings and site issue resolution.

E. Commissioning & Handover



Plan pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with discipline leads. Ensure punch list clearance, performance tests, and documentation are completed. Manage final handover to the client, including as-built documents and training.

F. Financial & Cost Control



Monitor project costs, cash flow, invoicing, and forecasting. Approve variations and support claims management. Ensure budget compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.

G. HSE & Quality Assurance



Promote a strong HSE culture and ensure implementation of HSE management plans. Oversee QA/QC activities, inspections, audits, and non-conformance closures. Ensure the project adheres to ISO standards or equivalent frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience



Education



Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Experience



8-15 years of relevant experience, including at least 3-5 years in managing midsize EPCC projects. Proven track record in industrial, oil & gas, energy, utility, chemical, or infrastructure EPCC projects.

Soft Skills



Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions.

Working Conditions



Based at both office and project site as needed. Requires travel to supplier locations or client offices. Must comply with site safety requirements and work in construction environments.
