Job Description

Site Oversight:

Manage the daily site operations for engineering projects, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project plans.

Team Management:

Supervise site engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel to ensure productivity and compliance with technical and safety standards.

Project Coordination:

Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and procurement teams to align site activities with project timelines and objectives.

Quality Control:

Monitor the execution of work to ensure it aligns with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Enforce company and legal safety procedures, conduct site safety briefings, and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Progress Monitoring:

Track site progress against the project schedule and prepare regular updates and reports for senior management.

Resource Management:

Plan and manage the use of manpower, machinery, tools, and materials effectively to minimize downtime and wastage.

Problem Solving:

Address technical issues or delays on-site promptly and implement corrective actions.

Client Communication:

Act as a site-level liaison with clients or consultants during site visits or progress discussions.

Documentation:

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping related to site activities, including inspections, handovers, and incident reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of site operation or project management experience in the engineering industry. Previous experience in the marine engineering industry are bonus. Strong leadership and people management skills. Solid knowledge of marine engineering practices, task and site safety. Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to site challenges.

Pay: RM1,921.21 - RM6,946.93 per month
