Key Responsibilities:

As our Project and Process Engineer, you\'ll assume a multifaceted role with a focus on overseeing projects, enhancing processes, and ensuring quality and safety. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of critical functions, including:

1. Project Management: Lead the development of project schedules, resource allocation, and meticulous compliance with plans.

2. Collaborative Oversight: Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to ensure project schedules are on track, fostering effective communication and problem-solving.

3. Process Enhancement: Drive improvements by planning, designing, and executing new manufacturing lines, cost-saving initiatives, and process enhancements.

4. Technical Expertise: Provide invaluable technical support, addressing design and efficiency issues and driving solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.

5. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with Maintenance, Production, QAQC, and Warehouse Departments, ensuring that maintenance is performed efficiently, machine performance is maximized, and safety is paramount.

6. Communication and Compliance: Establish clear communication channels to keep the team updated, develop robust safety procedures, manage regulatory documentation, and address maintenance issues, all while adhering to stringent safety and quality standards.

Required Competencies:

• Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Work Experience: An engineering role in food manufacturing industry with at least five years of project-related work experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Technical Reporting: Capable of creating technical reports for management.
• Analytical Skills: Strong numeracy, analytical, and engineering conceptualization abilities.
• Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to facilitate effective communication in a diverse work environment. Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role requires interaction with Mandarin-speaking vendors.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Automation Skills: Preferably knowledgeable in automation, PLC, HMI, etc.
• Work Ethic: Committed to a strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, safety, compliance, and quality.
• Startup Experience: Experience in starting up technical equipment or production lines is a plus.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
