We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Project Scheduler
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project scheduling, with hands-on experience using
Microsoft Project
and
Primavera P6
. This role requires excellent organizational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using
Primavera P6
and
Microsoft Project
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather scheduling input and updates
Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting potential delays or scheduling conflicts
Analyze schedule impacts and propose mitigation strategies
Prepare look-ahead schedules, baseline programs, and updates as required
Participate in progress meetings and provide scheduling support to project teams
Ensure adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum
2-4 years of experience
in project scheduling, preferably within the
construction and oil & gas industry
Proficient in
Microsoft Project
and
Primavera P6
Solid understanding of construction processes, workflows, and sequencing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze critical paths and forecast project timelines
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Familiarity with Petronas Technical Standards (PTS), OGSP, and Malaysian codes of practice
Key Skills & Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote project locations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Must possess or be able to obtain OGSP, CIDB Green Card, and other relevant certifications.
