Job Description

Assist Project Manager in all quality aspect on building, structural and infrastructures.

Review and check the design from respective consultant.

Check all construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies.

Monitor site construction progress, safety and quality at site.

Responsible to check the drawing given by customer and verify the dimension, material and etc.

To maintain good working relationship with consultants at site and HQ.

Liaises with internal department, consultant and contractor on technical/site matters.

To schedule visits to site as necessary and trouble shoot technical problems that are delaying physical progress.

To attend site meetings with the client when deemed necessary.

To provide technical knowledge during tenders and project procurement.

Liaison between sub-contractors and the site mainly on structural works.

Monitor and ensure that Non-Conformance Records are properly closed.



To ensure a proper and effective implementation of the Quality Management System in accordance to ISO 9001 standards.

To ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System are established and implemented.

To conduct periodic management reviews, reporting to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.

To ensure that actions arising from the management reviews are implemented.

To carry out awareness program of the customer requirement throughout the organization.

To appoint auditors for performing periodic Internal Quality Audit for the Company.

To organize the Internal Quality Audit, select the audit team and ensures that all the discrepancies are solved through appropriate corrective actions.,

To liaise with external Certification Body on the certification of ISO 9001 standard.

To undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the Project Manager.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

Minimum Degree or higher education in Construction and Civil Engineering or its equivalent.

Must be a CIDB green card holder.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIRED

Minimum three (3-5) years working experience in Project Construction, in similar position or related working experience.

Good team player, self-motivated, reliable, minimum supervision, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of the site safety plan and the safety activities operation flow.

Proficiency in English and Malay and computer literate.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Civil, Construction Management preferred.

2. 5 or more years' field and project planning experience.

3. Very good communication skills and presentation.

4. Must be strong in Problem - solving, leadership skills and Project Management

5. Well- versed in reporting with Clients .

6. Can handle pressure and multitask.

7. Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and software such as Microsoft Project.

8. The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

9. Excellent project management and supervision skills.

10. Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.

11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

12. Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.

13. Can start in short notice preferred.
