Summary of Client: Our client has over two decades of experience in the areas of conceptualisation, product design, sourcing, quality control and fulfilment while serving some of the largest multinationals globally in their marketing campaigns. :
Responsible for undertaking procurement activities for the sales team.
Liaise with local/overseas suppliers on enquiries.
Review pricing and specifications from various suppliers to determine the best deal.
Resolve customers\' inquiries and problems regarding product and design.
Arrange samples from suppliers while maintaining a strong working relationship.
Participate in the negotiation of the best deal in pricing with suppliers.
Issue Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
Provide solutions to any issues that arise related to samples and production.
Monitor projects closely to ensure conformity to specifications, quality, budgets and delivery schedules.
Update and report on project progress and take appropriate actions to ensure project progress is on schedule.
Work closely with team, clients and vendors to ensure project completion within schedule.
Ensure project compliance with the applicable practices, performance standards and specifications.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in any field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, coordination, and budget control.
Able to converse fluently in Mandarin to communicate with our counterparts from China.
Resourceful and able to work independently.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure and tight project timeline.
Organized with effective time management skills.
Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
High level of initiative, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and passionate about learning new technologies.
