Education and Experience

Diploma of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline required At least 1 year work experience in construction, site supervision or HVAC engineering experience is an advantage Able to execute well in Microsoft Word

Understands own role and responsibilities of each assigned project. Understands daily, weekly and overall project schedule. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems. Assist Engineer - Project and Manager - Project in day-to-day construction site activities, including coordinating and supervising the labour force, material flow and the work quality of all subcontractors. Monitor daily attendance of all relevant subcontractors and workers. Update planned site work daily to Engineer - Project or Manager - Project. Record daily site activities including material deliveries and workforce by trades. Plan and pick up required tools, material, equipment required from store. Record the items taken and ensure the items are taken care of during construction. Return the items to store in good condition. Report to Engineer - Project or Manager - Project if any tool, material and equipment is required or not necessary for site. Control and minimize wastages. Understands construction drawings and record daily progress on the drawings as planned with Engineer - Project or Manager - Project. Coordinate with subcontractors by communicating, following up, and supervising their quality of work and tasks. Regular inspection of works carried out by subcontractors to ensure high standards of workmanship. Highlight quality issues and anticipated problems to Engineer - Project where necessary.
