Key Responsibilities

Public Relations

Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's brand image and media presence. Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, newsletters, and other communication materials. Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and public stakeholders. Monitor media coverage and manage media clippings, press mentions, and reporting. Organize and coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and PR campaigns. Manage corporate communication channels, including website and social media (in collaboration with digital team).

Events Management

Plan, coordinate, and execute various events such as product launches, corporate functions, trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns. Liaise with internal teams, vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure seamless event execution. Manage event logistics, including venue booking, catering, equipment, and guest list management. Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring brand consistency and a high-quality experience. Track event performance, feedback, and prepare post-event reports and ROI analysis.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field. fresh grad is welcome Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Experience in media relations and working with influencers. Creative, resourceful, and proactive in handling challenges. Willing to travel and work flexible hours during events. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator is a plus).

Working Hours

4 working days in a week 8.30am to 6.00pm

Preferred Skills

Experience in corporate, lifestyle, or consumer brand events. Familiarity with digital PR and social media content planning. Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
