\xe3\x83\xbb Ensure that suppliers adhere to internal quality standards as well as external laws.\xe3\x83\xbb Conduct assessments to identify new and dependable suppliers/vendors.\xe3\x83\xbb Develop and maintain trusting relationships with key suppliers and vendors.\xe3\x83\xbb Develop and implement procurement best practices, procedures, and policies.\xe3\x83\xbb Purchase orders should be expedited, and suppliers should deliver requested items within the time frame specified.\xe3\x83\xbb Create and keep an up-to-date supplier/vendor database.\xe3\x83\xbb Examine business contracts for legal compliance.\xe3\x83\xbb Oversee the management of supplier/vendor product cost, quality, and delivery performance.\xe3\x83\xbb Direct and supervise the activities of purchasing agents to ensure effective performance of job duties.\xe3\x83\xbb Seek and receive executive approval to secure purchasing contracts with new suppliers or vendors.\xe3\x83\xbb Compare product prices and service quality on a regular basis to ensure that a company gets the best deals.\xe3\x83\xbb Able to do department capex, budget forecast and action plan.
